Choosing between WordPress, Laravel, Next.js and React depends on what you’re building, how it needs to work and what your business needs from the platform.
Is this approach suitable for a marketing website, not just complex applications?
Yes. Next.js can be used for content-focused websites as well as more interactive applications. Static generation and server-side rendering can be useful where performance, content delivery and SEO are important, while React provides flexibility for interactive features.
For a straightforward marketing website, however, we may recommend WordPress instead if its content management capabilities and simpler architecture are a better fit.
Will my site still rank well on Google with a JavaScript framework?
Yes, a JavaScript framework does not prevent a website from being indexed. The important factors include how the application renders content, its technical SEO implementation, performance and the quality of the content itself.
With Next.js, we can use server-side rendering or static generation where appropriate and implement the required metadata, structured data and technical SEO elements.
What is a Progressive Web App and do I need one?
A Progressive Web App is a web application that can provide some app-like capabilities, such as installation on a device and offline functionality.
It can be useful for applications where users regularly work on mobile devices or need access when connectivity is limited. It isn’t necessary for every project, so we assess whether the additional functionality provides a genuine benefit.
Is this more expensive than a standard WordPress site?
A custom Laravel, Next.js or React application will generally require more development work than a standard WordPress website because the functionality and architecture are built specifically for the project.
The right choice depends on what you need the platform to do. We don’t recommend a custom application where WordPress or another established platform can meet the requirements effectively.
Can you integrate with my existing CRM or database?
